His name was Jack. I never saw him again, but I will always remember that "first time". It was wonderful. I agree this is an important anniversary for each of us. I realized later that this date was also the anniversary of the liberation of Paris from the Nazis; on a personal level, my own "liberation" was no less life-changing for me than Paris's was for Parisians.
