More wisdom from the minds mouths of McCain/Palin groupies in Ohio, courtesy Blogger Interrupted:
This video includes a family who believes Barack Obama is a terrorist. They brought an Obama doll, to show he’s a “puppet”, and when asked why, their small child says “you need gloves to touch him”. Bonus footage of 2 closeted gays – see if you can tell which ones!
My bets are on the two with Creative Facial Hair!

STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES!!! WHATEVER THOSE “ASS-HOLES” WERE DRINKING AT THE TIME – I want some!! Maybe Gin n Juice, Vodka o the Brain, “O” Personality on Ice??!!!
All of them were in their “normal” behavior, the only difference is that the WHITE SHEETS are not over their heads!!
SOOOOO!! That proves my point; one I have been trying to make from the beginning! THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS STRICKLY FOR THE WHITE RACE, AND NOT FOR “ALL” AMERICANS IN THIS COUNTRY!!
Are those people really from my planet? Really? They seem more like those folks from planet Assholia.
In-Tell-Woman,
They’re not really for white people, either. I mean, for them to care about you, you’d damn well better be white, but you’d also better be 1) male 2) straight and 3)wealthy. They’re only for themselves.
(PS – Except my Granddad. When you’ve been a Republican approximately since Lincoln, it’s not really about what it’s about for these other nutbars.)
Okay, so these videos are creepy evidence of the stupidity of a lot of McPalin’s supporters, but it was totally inappropriate for him to ask the one black guy he found, “You’re an African American; why are you voting for John McCain?” It’s just as insulting to assume that every black person thinks alike and will vote for any other black person as it was to assume that every woman would flock to McCain when he picked a woman as his running mate.
Apart from that, these are solidifying my support for Obama/Biden and definitely make me feel better about the company I keep on the left.
I’m sorry, but Blogger Interrupted is coming off as a douche here. I watched the first video, and I didn’t think so as much, but in this one, he’s REALLY toeing the line. Yes, those McCain/Palin supporters are betraying their ignorance, and their blind hatred/ fear of Barack Obama. But I don’t know if this is really helping. I feel like it solidifies the negative opinions of both sides against the other, and not much else.
Okay, first, Polarity, if you can watch these videos and not hear the unspoken “I won’t vote for Obama because he’s BLACK”, then I’m not sure what more evidence you need. It’s not like we need hoods and sheets and it’s not like these people are evil, just unwilling (or too deluded) to admit to their casual racism. I mean, who’s going to come out and say “hell, yeah, I’m a fuckin’ racist and damn proud of it!”?
I’m not sure how many times we need to hear “I just don’t trust him” or “I just don’t know what he stands for” to know what they’re really saying, when the man has been on our television screens for more than two years now and has written two books which very clearly outline who he is, what he stands for and what we can expect from an Obama presidency.
Asking an African-American man why he’s supporting a campaign which has been going out of its way to fan the flames of racist distrust of “The Other” is as pertinent to this national conversation as is asking women why they’re supporting a woman who is very clearly not supportive of women’s right to choose.
And, Claire, you’ll have to elaborate as to what you mean by BloggerInterrupted toeing the line. Because he’s in the face of the McCain/Palin supporters, even those who don’t want to be photographed? He has an answer to that:
And I tend to agree.
“YOu need gloves to touch him” I think is the most telling statement. Out of the mouths of babes, right? They just mimic the racism of the parents.
I’ve said it before… this is a black and white election. And the undecideds are merely racists who hate mccain.
