Nope.
I mean, sure, it’s possible to find photos of the all-American-handsome Joseph “Beau” Biden, Junior, and throw them up here in a cheeky sort of way, but this has been a particularly trying week at This.That.No Other. and that’d be… just too easy. It’s a milestone birthday for my dad this week, too, and on that note I’d like to present the emotional introduction Beau made for his father at the Democratic National Convention last night.
It speaks to love and respect and pride. And fatherhood and responsibility. And knowing what’s important.

His was the best speech of the night. When Joe Sr. was done, and his wife came up on stage, you could read his lips as he hugged her, saying something to the effect that Beau had done such a great job. Even after his own speech, the first thing he wanted to tell is wife is how proud he is of his son.
Beau has a long career in politics ahead of him. Lets hope his Army tour in Iraq is a safe one.
