Green on Thursday #66
Neil Patrick Harris is all kinds of cool, from surviving child stardom — in a really awful series, no matter how fondly you might remember it — to dealing with his outing in the classiest, most casual way possible. He achieved cult status with his ironic cameos in the Harold and Kumar stoner-hit movies and is doing very well, thank you, with his current television series.
And I know this photo’s been manipulated to within an inch of its life, but it’s all about that thatch of chest fur poking over his collar. Right now I’m totally gay for NPH:

“Take it from me, I used to be a fake doctor.”
The public eye has always been kind to me, and until recently I have been able to live a pretty normal life. Now it seems there is speculation and interest in my private life and relationships.
So, rather than ignore those who choose to publish their opinions without actually talking to me, I am happy to dispel any rumors or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest and feel most fortunate to be working with wonderful people in the business I love.
And, if you haven’t already, you seriously have to check out Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. Like, right away. No, really. After Sunday, it’s gone.

Thumbs up. That’s all.
Love Neil Patrick Harris. Love Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. (Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion and Joss Whedon? With music? What’s not to love?)
Most excellent choice. Thumbs up indeed…
The Dr. Horrible thing is AWESOME!! I love the music, and I love the NPH can actually SING!
Oh my gawd, that’s fantastic.
Laundry day/See you there/Underthings tumbling
Want to say/Love your hair/Here I go mumbling
He saw the operation you tried to pull today
But your humiliation means he still votes neigh
“The hammer is my penis”
i think it’s gone already.
i always miss all the fun.
Nope, Acts I and II are still up, and Act III goes up tomorrow for 2 days. I gather you’ll still be able to buy it on iTunes after that and, without question, on DVD in a month or two.
