I don’t watch LOST any more — I’m saving up recorded episodes from last season and this for… I dunno, recovery from the heart attack which’ll ensue if I hear that anything on the show’s actually resolved? — but this development is exceedingly disturbing:

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I’d turn up my nose at the sight of a smooth-torsoed Matthew Fox padding around Casa bstewart clad only in a white towel, but when you can rock the chest fur, you must rock the chest fur. It’s in The Bible.

Gotta side with you on this one. Can’t say I’m a chest fur aficionado, but he looks MUCH better with than without. “Casa bstewart” totally hooked me into commenting btw.

Hah! Adam, I’m surprised we haven’t yet crossed paths, since we seem to have occupied the same physical space within hours of each other on more than one occasion. And, by the way, readers? Do check out Adam’s terrific videos at Dear Toronto. He and his pals manage to find the gems in this city.

Both are nice, if you’re into the whole six-pack look (I’m not, though a toned torso is a fine thing), but oddly enough, I’m leaning towards a smooth chested Matthew Fox.

Then again, until I started seeing my new boyfriend, I’d always preferred a chest with just a little bit of hair. New Boyfriend is one very hairy fellow, though, and I’m surprised that, not only does the extra torso hair not turn me off, I actually love to play with it and feel it against my cheek.

Excuse me as I growl like a naughty Catholic school girl…

The chest hair is definitely a MUST! But what’s with the white pastiness as well???

And does all this chest hair/no chest hair, pastiness/no pastiness defy the chronological and psychophysical rules of Lost, in the event that there actually are some rules?

Was M-Fox smooth before the plane crash or is he manifesting his distress and confusion on the island by getting a soothing allover wax job? Was he tanned and healthy before the crash and now wan and pallid in the hot tropical sun?

I prefer M-Fox hairy, personally. And perhaps in another show. ;)

Yeah, dude’s looking pale. I’m not that critical, though, of that or the higher body fat percentage on display - he’s not looking *unhealthy*, and if you’re not getting sun, you’re not getting sun. (Tanning booths are made of crystallised fail.)

The waxed chest is weird, because it’s not like he was excessively hairy. He had Good chest hair levels, imo. (I do find there can be too much hair on a man for my tastes…)

The shaved chest was put in purposely to advance the Lost story line.
The shaved Jack was added so that viewers could see his appendectomy scar. The appendectomy was performed on the island, prior to “rescue” by Jack and Juliette.
No point explaining if you no longer watch the show, but trust that it was a necessary plot device so the viewers knew this was a flash forward to an alternate time line and not a flash back to an alternate time line…..capishe?

in agreement with you and adam… matthew fox was sporting it just fine. he looks so pink without the hair!

ok, matthew fox is one hot piece of beef anyway you cut it - but with the fur, oh that makes him just about perfect.

    woof.
