Despite its gorgeous, soaring galleria, I used to think that Toronto’s Brookfield (née BCE) Place — especially its corporate-logoed crown — was one of the most atrociously obvious, inelegant and downright clunky examples of Ugly Toronto Architecture.
And yet… maybe not so bad on a bright, crisp, cobalt-blue-skied day like today:
